Ocean Hackathon - Blue-Cloud

The hackathon will take place from 29 September to 2 October 2025.

Participants will explore and test the innovative, open science digital ecosystem developed by the Blue-Cloud 2026 project, which is conceived as an incubator of new research ideas, supporting scientists and researchers in designing, testing, and evaluating innovative computational analytical flows that extract valuable knowledge from diverse datasets, accelerating open science and collaborative research to advance solutions towards ocean sustainability.

100th anniversary of The Polish Geographical Society

On 27th of January 2018, the 100th anniversary of the founding of The Polish Geographical Society was celebrated. To commemorate The Society’s anniversary, a solemn session of The Main Board of The PGS was organized. The session was combined with an occasional scientific seminar. The event took place in Warsaw, at the Staszic Palace at 11.00 am.
