• Spatial and temporal changes of the chemical composition (C, N, P, Si, Fe, S) of suspensions and sediments
• Spatial and temporal changes of the chemical composition (biogenic substances and Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+, I-, F-, Cl-, SO42-) of interstitial waters
• Fluxes of suspended matter and transformation dynamics of its components (C, N, P, Si, Fe, S) in the water column and sediments
• Changes in the chemical parameters of the aquatic environment from anthropogenic pressure (discharge of sewage, saline water, dredging, trawling)
• Carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur forms and transformations in sediments and pore waters
